REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

Philippine Rural Development Project

The Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office No. 5, San Agustin, Pili, Camarines Sur thru its Bids and Awards Committee invites applicants to submit the herein listed requirements for the hiring of Project Development Associate (PDA) for Finance under I-SUPPORT component of the PHILIPPINE RURAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT (PRDP), a six year program designed to establish the government platform for a modern, climate smart and market oriented agri-fishery sector.

I-SUPPORT Component

PDA for Finance           -1 person for 4 months @Php30,000.00/month

The Agency intends to apply the amount of ONE HUNDRED TWENTY THOUSAND PESOS (Php120,000.00) as Estimated Project Cost (EPC).

The hiring of Project Development Associate for Finance shall be guided by the World Bank procurement guidelines and the terms of reference of the above positions which shall be posted at DA Web & PhilGEPS. The engagement of the Project Development Associate for Finance shall be for four (4) months and extension contract will be subject to performance evaluation.

The prospective applicants should submit the following requirements/documents, to wit:

  1. Letter of Intent/Application letter with latest PERSONAL DATA SHEET (PDS

form 212)

  1. Resume/Curriculum Vitae
  2. Certified True copy of related credentials

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Business Course, Major in Accounting (CPA is an advantage)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (previous involvement in special and foreign-funded projects is preferred); and
  • With at least 24 hours relevant trainings
  • Computer literate with high proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Competent, willing to work over regular working hours, and can go on travel within and outside the region even on short notice

Deadline for the submission of requirements/documents to the PRDP Screening Committee thru the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), DA RFO 5, San Agustin, Pili, Camarines Sur will be before 9:30 in the morning of 24 August 2018. The applicants will be advised as to the schedule of interview. The Department of Agriculture assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expense incurred in the preparation of the proposal.
