LEGAZPI City—The Department of Agriculture Bicol along with eight government agencies and institution, local government units and state universities in the Bicol region received the Bronze Award for achieving a process-defined Human Resource Management in the four core HRM systems under the Enhanced Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in HRM (PRIME-HRM) on October 13, 2021 from the Civil Service Commission (CSC) here.
According to DA Bicol Regional Executive Director Rodel P. Tornilla, the award signified that DA Bicol met the PRIME-HRM Maturity Level II indicators on the various HR processes, practices, requirements and competencies based on the assessment of the CSC. It is a manifestation of good and harmonious collaboration, coordination and cohesive teamwork.
CSC Regional Director Atty. Daisy Punzalan Bragais assured the awardees that CSC will continue to support and guide them to maintain their meritocracy and excellence in public service to gain the trust, satisfaction and confidence of the public.
She challenged all government agencies, academe and LGUs to continue to get motivated of doing their best in public service. The simple ceremonies was attended virtually and in-person by heads and representatives of the Camarines State Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC); Bicol University (BU);, DA-5; Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources-5 (BFAR-5); City Government of Masbate;Municipal Government of Bulusan, Sorsogon; Department of Social Welfare and Development-5 (DSWD), Department of the Interior and Local Government-5 (DILG), and the Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital (BRTTH) and their provincial CSC offices.
