SAN AGUSTIN, PILI, CAMARINES SUR – Binisita ng Landscaping Team ng University of the Philippines Los Baños Foundation Incorporated (UPLBFI) ang DA Bicol kamakailan para sa inisyal na pagkuha ng datos hinggil sa isang bagong proyektong may kinalaman sa Urban Agriculture.Pinamagatang “Enhancing Capacities on Urban Agriculture towards Nutrition-Sensitive Crop Production through the Promotion of Edible Landscaping and Facilitation of Co-Learning Activities & Field Demonstration in Region 5, ang proyektong ito ay pinondohan ng DA-Bureau of Agricultural Research.

Ayon kay Dr. Mary Grace Rodriguez, Hepe ng Field Operations Division at focal person ng High Value Crops Development Program, ito ay isang pagbabago sa dating nakasanayan dahil itong edible landscaping ay tumutugon sa food production at pagpapaganda ng kapaligiran.
